I made these recolorable from pre-simblr to sometime in the past year. I waited figuring I was going to make more recolors for these and other modular stairs but don’t know if/when that’s going to happen. All can now be walked under. BlueSoup fixed the price on 1 of them; I did the other 3 myself. Both the scriptorum and mesh files got renamed so replace both if you have them already (otherwise the stairs will be free). I made the remaining textures into recolors.

Includes the following stairs:

Jonesi MDK modular stairs

Jonesi modstairs 2

BitzyBus Maya build modular stairs

Fallingwater bonus modular stairs

I only included the stairs. Get the rest if you would want: Maya (not on the booty unfortunately), Fallingwater I think I found Jonesi’s stuff reuploaded on Sims Cave. They might also be on BPS Backup and various other reuploads.

All files are compressed with included preview. I also included a clear recolor for the maya glass and an invisible sides recolor for modstairs 2.

This is a similar deal to the pizza stand a couple for uploads ago. I resized and removed the glass and handle one of the dessert stands from Pforestsims and ended up with a more versatile and nicer looking buffet than the original. It’s repo’d to the small dessert stand and cloche which I included (but the rest of the set isn’t). I recolored it too many times. The plain ones were eyedropped from Fiestaware pics online and the metal ones are in some metal colors from actions recently shared by AlfredAskew in the GOS Secret Santa. The metal ones have versions with and without the handle while the plain ones don’t, and there’s also 2 glass recolors (not useful for the buffet but would be for certain meshes in PF’s set).

The mesh sits at ground level and I lowered the slots to match. It can be placed on most surfaces. There’s a few deco counter slots like the original that I left with it. .Both the original buffet table or Sunni’s platter and this stand can be used together. It works the same otherwise as the original. It serves various cookable foods from the BG and OFB and the NL restaurant foods.  It costs money to restock in a business, you can charge for food or have it free, etc. I believe it needs OFB but only tested it with the UC and some of the foods served are from OFB.

Known issues: Restocking and cleanup animations look silly when the platter is  placed somewhere where the top is significantly different than counter height, NL food serving states look a bit odd, all foods cost the same (thought the later 2 are also issues with the original)

I didn’t include it, but if you want to sell them in an owned business, I would recommend SW’s NoFreeLunch.

All files are compressed with included preview and a read me file for how it works. Swatch

One of my favorite 4T2 conversions is the functional snowy escape vending machines converted by @vixsims. There weren’t any recolors so I made more for the functional ones. The Freezie Treats is in Kinu/Nyren/whatever else they go by’s Vaporwave colors and the Hot Eats is in their Kurayami colors. Both have some patterned recolors that I made as close to seamless as I could get them.

All files are compressed with preview, swatches, and necessary meshes included. I also threw in psd files if anyone wants to make their own recolors since it's a pain to get all the parts separated. Freezie Treats Swatch | Hot Eats Swatch

I finished this back in August but never got around to getting it ready to upload until now. I wanted something more versatile than the original counter table thing. I took the handle off an eaxis door, added the spheres and mangled it into a pizza stand. It’s repo’d to the Ciao Time fridge.

The mesh sits at ground level and I lowered the slots to match. It can be placed on most surfaces. There’s a few deco counter slots like the original that I left with it. It requires the part 2 file for the pizza to spawn properly, which is the original, which I included. Both the original buffet table and this stand can be used together and both use the same original part 2 file. It works the same otherwise as the original. It costs money to restock in a business, you can charge for food or have it free, etc. I believe it needs OFB but only tested it with the UC.

Known issue: Restocking and cleanup animations look silly when the stand is  placed somewhere where the top is significantly different than counter height.

 I ran into the terrain defaults/mods for TS4 from k-hippie aka tech-hippie a while ago, I assume when I was making the rockmaggedon stuff. I wanted some more terrain paints and ended up with too many. I made 60 and that’s not even all the available textures. I took textures from their k202 and k505 mods. They’re 512x512 textures since I thought 1024x1024 would be a bit much. Files and terrains are uncreatively named since I don’t play ts4 and don’t know the actual names.

I couldn’t find any recolors of these 2 fans I liked (and hardly any in general) so I made some. They’re just basic recolors in shasta‘s island colors and moderate Moroccan, plain old black and white, and then colors eyedropped from eaxis objects since I quickly ran out of color ideas.

I made a handful of retextures of itsdiamondeyesuniverse's

Hood Deco Flat Grass with a few edits to the mesh. I lowered the mesh to sit just under the rural charm and Feverfew paths and roads. I edited the txmt’s a bit and changed the no snow winter state to use the no snow texture. I edited the alpha from some of my hood defaults and used 4 of the textures. The rest of the textures are edits of Sunni’s grass and Eaxis pine needles. There’s only 7 since I didn’t need that many.

Known issue: usual hood deco flickering problems

I made these for myself way pre-simblr but never uploaded them. I made the log and lakeside stairs recolorable so there isn’t a bunch of redundant meshes and recoloring is easier. The log stairs can now be walked under. Both stairs now cost something, but I don’t remember if I did it myself or it’s from BlueSoup’s upload. Both the scriptorum and mesh files got renamed so replace both if you have them already (otherwise the stairs will be free). I made the remaining textures into recolors. The rest of both sets aren’t included, get them at the booty.

The
skill motor by Dr Pixel is a great object but could use a better mesh. The other ones cloned from it I’ve seen uploaded are too medieval or too post apocalyptic for what I want. I separated the engine from the TS3 fixer upper car converted by crispsandkerosene and dangerously balanced put it on top of cinderblocks from the BG bookcase with cinderblocks. The cinderblocks are repo’d to the bookcase ones, which aren’t recolorable (though they should be recolorable if there’s a cep-extra for this around). I gave it all the wall and ground shadows at a point but reduced it just to a groundshadow since I didn’t like how it looked with wallshadows. I made a few recolors partly eyedropped off Google images and partly from my own bullshit.

Other things I did: increased mechanical skill gain, increased fun gain very slightly, made autonomous, made visitor enabled, decreased footprint to 2 tiles, and added a FT version that gives tinkering enthusiasm (use only 1 version). This mesh was cloned and has new GUIDs due to this. It can be used with the original mesh.

Known issues: animations line up a bit oddly and I couldn’t figure out how to make the wrench spawn with the animations that usually use it

The way the outdoor shadows make rugs and other low objects make them look dark annoys the shit out of me. I disabled the outdoor shadows for the the apartment door rug, the flowerbeds, and the rugs that look like they can be used outside. I made this for myself a few months ago but figure someone may want it. I merged the flowers based on whether they were the BG or MG ones, the rest are left separate to pick and choose. These edit the GMNDs so they would conflict in the improbable chance there are any CEP Extras floating around for these objects.

edit: forgot to mention that the rug files need to be used with the zomg rug fix to be of any use (as the shadow issue doesn’t happen with the unfixed sinking rugs), but I think almost everyone has it in their downloads already

I repo’d all the community lot speakers to the residential speaker so there would be more color options with far less recolor files. For whatever reason Eaxis made the meshes have different mapping and slight mesh differences between various EPs. I ended up using the NL version (and defaulting the res speaker with it) since it had better mapping than the BG version. I left out the metal, jam band, and new age speakers since they had entirely different meshes.

I also split them into 2 subsets, like some of the later EP ones are, to have the metal  part be shiny without making the rest of it look weird. I made both recolorable and made 3 recolors because why not.

I enabled the NL textures and recolors for the BG speaker since they had the same texture setup. The OFB+ textures have a different arrangement so I made plainish recolors based off of the original textures (since the patterns on them didn’t translate well with the different mapping). I’m not too happy with the indie wave checker recolor, but included it anyway. Swatch

In addition, I edited and repo’d zeroth’s college rock and jazz speakers.

 The voidness under the pond water has bothered me for a long time, and not being able to terrain paint underwater the normal way seems to be hard coded. I found a way (although flawed) around it last month but never got around to explaining why due to RL stuff and recategorizing deco in my game. This works fine for UC. I’m not sure if this would work with all EP/SP configurations.

As a simpler solution, I also found the textures for the pond bottom. But, I still have to find a few textures to make more than 1 default option.

Under a cut since it’s pic heavy.

 I posted this to Tumblr a bit over a year ago so I'm finally putting it here as a backup.

It’s pretty much the same steps as texture referencing clothing. Copy the stdMatBaseTextureName from the txmt for the texture you’re using. Replace the stdMatBaseTextureName of the floor/wall with the one you just copied. Change other txmt values if needed and delete the now useless texture in the floor/wall file.

The void of doom has bothered me for a long time. I finally found the textures in the program files months ago, and it took me months to get around to making an upload. I also found out

how to get paint under the water, but I imagine there’s at least one person who would want the simpler way of using a default.

Here’s the preview/swatch of all 3 options:

As shown in the first picture, the terrain.ini can be edited to get rid of the sand edge (which shares it’s texture with the beach texture). Editing this file is optional, but I personally recommend it. I included a terrain.ini in the download, which is from the MG program files.

I haven't seen any differences between various EP/SP combos, but you may want to edit your own if you're way pre-MG or have your own
configurations already in your own terrain.ini. Open the terain.ini file in the program files of MG or your newest EP of you don’t have MG. The file path will be something like
InstallLocation/Sims 2/Most Recent EP\TSData\Sys.
For example mine is C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Sys

These are the values I used:

ShallowPaintDepthMin=-0.35
DeepPaintDepthMin=0
ShallowPaintDepthMax=5
DeepPaintDepthMax=2BeachPaintPeakDepth=0
BeachPaintEndDepth=0
BeachPaintMaxAlpha=0

Any terrain.ini edits won't apply to existing ponds, although this is pretty easy to fix. Just redig around the pond edges (some objects may need to be moved)
then undo it. The pond paint will be updated. Then fix any terrain painting/objects/deco that got messed up.

All files are compressed with included swatch and preview. I also included the terrain.ini instructions.

I had a few pieces of cc seating in my download folder that I wanted to give an additional subset and recolors. It’s been bothering me for a while, but I probably only got around to it since I had internet issues. The recolors are just simple recolors since I was satisfied with the original textures.

Moxxa’s 3T2 Durasoft Rocker: Recolored wood in AlfredAskew’s heartwoods. The metal part of the base is in the same subset, but I left it as the original dark grey for all the textures. Swatch

Trapping’s 3T2 Sugar-Baby Saga Patio Set: Recolored wood in some of the maxis shades Piggi used. I also remade the recolors from the original upload so they recolor both the wood and cushion. Swatch

Moxxa’s 3T2 A Little Bit of Eco Bench: Recolored in Aelia’s eco since it’s an eco bench. This time I made the recolors work for both subsets since I couldn’t find a single recolor for this bench. Also, the planter now has a slot. Swatch

(mostly MM) Recolors and More Slaved Meshes for Waterfall Matching Rock and Super Stone Set

Kind of a strange upload for someone who plays an overall modern to minimally futuristic game with ren faire escapee rainbow barf sims, but I have a rock obsession in TS2. I was originally just going to clean up and upload some recolors and I made for myself of marvine’s meshes 3 years ago and a few slaved meshes, but it blew up into a bigger project.

 I figured I’d get the next round of these out. This time, the defaults are: bridge (since an arch and that plumbob statue thing are slaved to it), cooling tower, dutch windmill, farm fields, lighthouses, monorail track, observatory, power plant, radio telescope, radio tower, silo, stone bridge, streetlight, sunken ship, the 4  terrain effects, water tank, water tower, and both wind turbines. I also defaulted the neighborhood cliffs with the textures from
greatcheesecakepersona’s placeable cliffs (although the maxis rocks just pick up the non-snow texture). I had to nuke effects on 2 cres’es and rename 2 deco pieces, otherwise these just replace textures and/or meshes.

Only 2 weird defaults this time: the stone bridge is a shed and the streetlight is a trashcan. The rest of the mesh replacements are similar to the originals in type. I did salvage some of the eaxis deco with retextures and mesh tweaking, although I’m not 100% happy with them. Monorail track has options between a retexture and invisible track. The trees are just silent-dragon’s egg hunt oak and walnut tree defaults with more vibrant fall leaves; the other states are unchanged.

The only slightly high polycount mesh is the 4.5k power plant. The main possible issue is that many textures are kind of high-res

All files, compressed with included ‘’’’swatch’’’’ for the defaults that have a choice of different texture options and previews.

Update Dec 18: Redid the default for the non-effect wind turbine. This version is a mesh replacement with a rename and it won’t effect the in-lot functional turbine’s texture like the previous version.

 I finished these before the Halloween stuff but never got around to uploading them. I’m a bit short on outdoor furniture sets and was looking for an excuse to put
these textures on something. The 2x1 table is the master for all the furniture meshes. I only did the furniture since I don’t care for the deco in this set. I made the meshes quarter-tileable and slaved the diving board and pool ladder to the big dining table like the rest originally was. I renamed the mesh files so watch out for duplicate files in your downloads folders.

I don’t have much since I got started too late, but everything is functional at least. I’ll just do the put the candy bowl out thing since I’d lose my shit with the porch light system. All is either TS4 conversions I did or edits of other’s TS3/TS4 conversions:

4T2 pan de muerto and separated spooky cookies as edible objects. They’re cloned from pizza slices. They’re found in appliances/misc.

4t2 Soloriya’s dark nights bedroom spiders as a ceiling lamp instead of plain deco like the original. Recolored in random Halloweenish colors. Swatch

3T2 crystal wand and 4T2 crystal broom turned into defaults for the witch/warlock wands and brooms with alignment-complimenting colors. Preview of other 2 versions

Known issues: Sim’s hands bleed into the brooms a bit, food will have to to be repurchased when you need to restock it in a sim-owned business.

Credit to Shasta and Decat for their conversions since I don’t have TS3 and only have BG TS4.

I made these for personal use the same time almost 2 years ago when I made the eye recolors I posted yesterday. Yet again I fulfilled my crayola sim desires with dozens of unnatural recolors, except with more colors, many more textures, and much more frustration. I wanted colors that weren’t neons or colors I frequently use so I used some of the hanakotoba colors, part of a palette from Inzey. Then I somehow managed to run out of colors so I had to pull the majority of them out of my ass. The grayscale are geneticized from light to dark then the others are gen’d based on hue value.

Known issue- darker colors are a bit pixelated. I would've loved to have made very dark recolors, but the pixelation was unbearable at that point.

All files are compressed (or download folders would implode) with included preview and swatch.
